Here we show an example of structure with low environment impact powered by renewable energy for heating, cooling, hot power supply, ventilation. This model allows high energy savings to be achieved up to 70% compared to traditional systems.
RADIATION SYSTEM
Radiant plasterboard ceiling with low temeperature
In terms of radiant ceiling, it follows the first claim regarding the principle that hot air rises. As the air heats up it rises due to its lower density, cold air flows towards the floor. This is the most widespread concept among the people, but no one knows that this principle is used by traditional heating system with radiators and fan coil units. Radiant systems work in a different way by using a different heat transmission principle, by means of a natural convection: the radiation. This radiation system is relatively unknown, but we can feel it every day by the sun rays that reach the Heart without heating the air.
According to the radiation principle, heat flows from a body with a higher temperature to a body with a lower temperature through infrared radiance oriented in all directions.
This exchange of energy will be continuous until the two bodies concerned have not achieved the same temperature.
RADIANT CEILING
Eco-designed products with low environment impact
The radiant heating and cooling ceiling system represents an innovation that exploits a high thermal exchange surface with low flow temperature (heating 27-45°, cooling 14-20 °) compared to traditional systems. This characteristic allows significant energy saving up to 75 %, amortization of investment and reduction of environmental impact.
Radiant systems turned the concept of heating and cooling into an innovative solution contributing to environmental welfare. It doesn’t mean increase or decrease temperature as we are used to do with traditional heating systems.
The term “environmental welfare” describes attention to the thermo-hygrometric requirements related to temperature exchange of the human body with the outside world, to air speed and relative humidity.
Nowadays Proterclima radiant ceiling is the best solution in practical, technical and economic terms. It consists of a plasterboard panel with a serpentine layout pipe, suitable for the flow of hot and cold water, with quick-connection technology, easy to install thanks to a simple effective layout design, simplified hydraulic distribution.
The radiant system is suitable for ceiling, wall and suspended ceiling, it takes up no space and it do not require displacement, it works without dust ensuring the healthiness of the environment, it reduces builder’s work for installation to the minimum avoiding dusty and expensive works. It assures low thermal inertia and low installation time, energy savings of up to 75% suitable for all the renewable energy sources eligible, and uses eco-friendly and recyclable materials ideal for use in bio- building trade.
It replaces plastering, increases thermal/acoustic insulating performance, and avoids the weakening of the structural since it does not need cutting grooves in masonry.
